Writing - tuna (Eels)

Over the last couple of weeks we have been researching information about Tuna (eels). We have been learning to write a report using the information we have found.

Our challenges were to include a complex sentence and to use a hyphen followed by a list.

Longfin eels can be found in a rare colour gold, the longfin can be found in New Zealand only. The eels use its sense of smell to detect prey- slimy, speed and wriggly. It could be as big as a human arm. It is really slippery and slimy and wriggly it can weigh up to 20kg. It can snatches it's prey in a flash. They could live up to 100 years old but the average 35-52  years old.

magnificent maths made by Travis

Hi my name is Travis, and this is my blog for wk 3 term 4 maths. My Goal this week was to use a broad range of mental strategies to solve addition and subtraction problems.

The first one we learnt was place value I've, done this one before it was easy to pick up aging so in my create I had a page for each strategy this was my problem solving one.

The next strategy was tidy numbers I've, done this one before it was little hard picking it up again but I did it here is my page for tidy number.s

The last strategy was reversibility this was my first time doing reversibility, it was hard at first but after my teacher explained it to my I got it so this is my page for reversibility.

have you done these strategy?
