Jump in to a jolly jolly jar.

This term, our Project Based Learning (PBL) started with the teachers putting us into groups. In these groups we had to work collaboratively to create Jolly Jars for the school fair. This task helped us to begin exploring our PBL question for the term - How can we build community through our actions? We had to research ideas, be creative with our product, experiment with our materials and write instructions that could be followed by others.

I learnt that instructions need to be simple, clear, easy to read, you have to list the materials and you have to have a title and how to do the thing.   


Reflection on PBL:
For our Jolly Jar my group made snow globes. We did the idea because it was different  

I contributed to my group by making the instructions and bringing some of the glitter. I also listened to others ideas. I shared my ideas to my group too.

Our Jolly Jar was creative because not many people did it and it was unique.

What I learned about working with others was you aren’t the boss, you don't make all the ideas and you have to listen to others. 

How did we build community through our actions? I helped by moving the jars over to another table.  We raised money for the bike track.

Facts about Firebending

Hi I am Travis. And I am going to talk to you about fire bending (form Avatar the last airbender).

1. Fire-bending is base on Northern Shaolin.
2. Combustion-bending is a broken fire-bending.
3. They call iroh the dragon of the west. Because he learnt to breath fire from Ran Shaw ( two dragon).

 Hi my name is Travis. On the 29 of October 2019 me and my hub Tumu went to Ferrymead. At     the start a man called Robert told us the rules                                                                     
                                                                                                                                                                     
rule 1 stand up straight
rule 2 don't break your shoes
rule 3 lady's before men
rule 4 children should be seen not heard
The people in my group were Hyaun, Dejon, Gio and Natalie and Santara. My parent help was my mum, Abbey.   

After Robert told us the rules we had to get dress then we found out our group.
the first thing my group did was jail. Then we when to wash clothes. Then we when to the shop, then we when to the Kiwanis room then we when to the school house it was fun then we had lunch the we when to the movies it was then we had to go back to school after the tram ride.

Hi my name is Travis and I am going to talk about my P.B.L (project based learning).

So our P.B.L this term is a Tie and necklace holder. the base of it is a clothes hanger. the peg's. We decorated it it was fun.

At the start of P.B.L our idea was survival backpack. Then we change our minds because no one in our group was bring the stuff.
